NOVICE | OPEN | E-COLLAR

As our nation's animal shelters suffer from overcrowding and more cities enact anti-dog legislation, good canine citizenship is becoming increasingly important.  Because of this, we take dog training very seriously.

We encourage you to visit a class any time prior to registration.

Classes meet once a week.  We recommend working your dog 40 minutes a day.

Obedience training develops a bond with your dog as well as prevent or solve behavior problems.

WANTED!  Your dog for training.

$95.00 / 10 Weeks (plus equipment*)

For beginner dogs of all ages (minimum age is 4 months). Covers heeling, sitting, sit-stay, down-stay, coming when called, and OFF LEASH CONTROL! Our 10-week course solves problems such as running away, jumping fences, digging, chewing, and jumping on people.

SPECIAL OFFER: FREE 15-foot longe line ($10.00 value) with PAID PRE-REGISTRATION for Novice (received 3 days before class starting date!). Mail to 2555 W. Zinnia OR deliver in person to 2509 W. Zinnia (Kennel Comfort Pet Motel). Check registration times under Class Dates.  Our first class lecture/orientation/homework assignment is held WITHOUT DOGS.  You may want to bring a chair.

For dogs that have completed Novice. The course covers retrieving, jumping, polishing Novice exercises and much more. There is a 15-dog MINIMUM for class. Check registration times under Class Dates. BRING YOUR DOG. Additional equipment required. Dumbbells will be for sale. Orders for jumps will be taken. Registration 7:00 p.m., first class WITH DOGS 7:30-9:00 p.m.

IMPORTANT:   Do not be confused that all obedience classes are the same.  Unless you are attending one of Cactus Canine Center's classes, you are not receiving the professional guidance of one of our qualified instructors.  If you were to take other obedience courses that may be offered in the Tucson area, they would not teach you and your dog OFF-LEASH CONTROL.  If you want to obtain OFF-LEASH CONTROL using another training course, you would have to sign up for an "advanced" class, investing more time, and of course, more money.  Our method has been improved and refined over the years to bring about an end product you can be proud of ....a well-mannered, well-behaved, obedient pet.  It's the SMART thing to do!
